On Foxes ..... sold 4, bought 5. But I sold more of the other makers than I bought. So I'm down about 10% and on my reduction goal for this year. :) Plan is to reduce by 10% again next year.

I was talking to a fellow at the gun show. He said his wife didn't know one gun from another but she sure could count.

Added a 32" BE 12 ga. in January, and a 30" Sterlingworth Ejector 12 ga. in September.

I don't sell them. My kids can worry about that.

Added my first Fox. A Sterlingworth 20 gauge with a custom English stock.

Best memory will be made on Thursday when dove season opens back up and I shoot it for the first time.

One Fox gone, and this week I picked up my RBL-410 from my FFL, so overall my gun collection weighs about four pounds less.

ylwdog,

I also have an early Sterlingworth (Model 1911) hinge pin gun with 26 inch barrels choked IC and Mod, SN is 57979. Curious if your gun is SN'ed close to that.

ylwdog,

You have a real early Sterlingworth. Agreed, great upland guns.

Thanks for sharing your SN.

Blindduck2: You will need good luck to find a 32" C---in the second generation engraving style they made 44 in POW grip and 14 in Straight and 44 in full pistol-----grab one if you find one it may be a long wait until the next 32" C is for sale. If you own one you are very fortunate and many have been played with. But ya never know Santa may be listening!!
You are fortunate not to have a small bore 32" graded or Sterly on your wish list------I know of two total in collector hands. Merry Christmas Craig Larter

I am in reduction mode, but couldn't pass up a crispy "early A" when it walked by my table at the Chantilly, VA show this year. The early A is my favorite Fox, only slightly above the HE in overall character, in my opinion. The seller had quite a variety of neat guns to sell at fair prices, sold about five of them without moving from his spot in front of my table. I only bought the Fox.

I added a 20 Gauge Sterlingworth. I don't have enough Foxes to part with any yet.
