24 days to go until waterfowl opens. Have my fingers crossed I'll have my Super Fox back for this season, especially October when those big old greenheads start to colour up and the snow geese abound!
For now it's out the door each evening looking at fields to see who has what for crops and shoot the breeze with some of the farmers starting their barley silage and haying.
Was flying my drone the other day checking fields to see how much sheetwater is lying in the crops after 24" of rain this summer to date and the local Hutterite Colony field boss happened by. When he saw I was flying my drone he asked if I'd come over and film them silaging barley so off I went.

Thanks so much for posting the videos. As a farmer myself i really enjoyed the short of the barley ensilaging. Sure does look wet from all that rain you've had.
