Stan, I agree with your last post. As a shooter, I want a gun that looks good but I'd also like it to fit me reasonably well. My goal is to break targets or drop birds. If that means I have to add a recoil pad to get the correct LOP for me, then so be it. I don't have to even think about cutting a stock as I have never picked up a gun that was too long for my LOP. I have hoisted a few that almost caused me to punch my nose if I had a quick mount!! Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

I do want to pre-order my book from Dave too!! I see it as a labor of love for "Poor Ol' Researcher"!!

Maybe if each one of us sent Researcher $50 as a deposit on his book (call it seed money) maybe he would write one.

With the knowledge that is absorbed in that brain and all his reference material I think it would take a long time for that book to be completed!!!
