Couple pictures of a sterlingworth that I picked up a few weeks ago.... not sure if the engraving stopped at the same time that the Wayne Junction stopped but would be interested in collecting data on any that you all may have... feel free to PM me if you don't mind sharing. I ran across a few in my search for a nice one but did not really keep the best of records... pretty much all of the other really early SWs that I found while looking for a nice one were terribly beat up so I only record serial numbers and if it was stamped Wayne junction or not. Likewise, turns out like most things Fox, there is no set serial number break between the Wayne Junction versus Phila stamping. I found one Wayne Junction gun in the 503xx range and a Phila stamped barrel in the 502xx range.
There are a few other unique things about the early guns that seem to decrease over time... such as the V shaped engraving just behind the fences, by 1000 gun later this is down to just one V, and by the time the guns are just stamped Sterlingworth, there is no V shaped engraving at all.
