Re: William Larsen Copenhagen

I apologize. I sometimes hit these silly moods and I suspect it's from a career of teaching upper elementary students.

Might get your info over at doublegunshop.

Re: Sterlingworth Bead Sight

The Bradley is my bead of choice whenever I need to replace a bead on a non-vintage project.

Re: SxS shoot at Woods & Meadow near Warrens, WI

I copy-pasted from last years's notice and forgot to change the date. I fixed it. The shoot is on Saturday, July 13.

Thanks!

Re: Low Pressure Shells

I've had excellent performance from the B&P 1 1/4 oz loads on pheasant. These are the older 1300 fps load. Now they are 1400 fps and just a bit too much whammy in a field O/U.

Re: Low Pressure Shells

Stan, I'll just add that I bought them for a large SxS shoot (Medford), and what I had leftover I shot through my Beretta O/U with no misfires. Your experiences make me much less likely to buy any for my current Sterlingworth. FWIW, I just bought 3 flats of the Federal Top Gun 7/8 oz loads (1200 fps...

Re: Low Pressure Shells

Stan, I went through a couple flats with a Ruger Gold Label of all things. No problems, no misfires, just nice soft shooting loads that really worked well.

Re: Low Pressure Shells

The 12 ga. B&P Competition One 7/8 oz loads are excellent. I'd shoot them any day.

Re: And here is Fox #2

I treated myself and this orphan Fox with a little little TLC over the winter. The right barrel was restruck to fit, then the set rust-blued, furniture blued, muzzle squared, chokes opened to IC/M. I'll pick it up and shoot it at the SxS shoot in Wausau, WI tomorrow. I know what you're thinking rega...
