Re: Thank you to VATURKEY (TomT)Loose rear tang screw diagnosis

Yeah my A Grade 12 is going to G&H and I’m going to have them tighten them up maybe with some non perm thread lock. My A grade has the original pad which is pretty worn so I was going to have them put on a silvers orange pad and rebalance the gun a little. It was pretty annoying when the my safe...

Re: Hausmann’s June 2025

Sadly I’ll be in Ireland and will miss the Northern SxS again. I always enjoyed shooting Rock Mountain it has a nice mix of presentations in addition the trampoline birds and of course those high birds coming off the mountain that make it all so easy to ride them too long.

Yes thank you for your time in the fox booth and for answering all my questions. We are very fortunate to have the knowledge base of Foxology in this group and I very much appreciate it!

Re: Hausmann’s June 2025

I wish I could have stayed Sat as well hopefully someday.
How did team Fox do at the 5 stand and does anyone know the BoWhoop results?
I wish I had more time to practice that B bird!
Hausmanns probably will not post results for a while.
Lots of fun!

Re: Thank you to VATURKEY (TomT)Loose rear tang screw diagnosis

I just had this happen to another one of my Fox guns. This screw seems to loosen up after extensive shooting. I was wondering if any of the Fox folks who shoots clays ever use some thread lock on this screw to keep it tight?

I’ve gone to Hausmanns every year for a while but typically only a day trip. Look forward to it every year.

Re: 2024 Vintagers

Thanks for posting, I don’t feel too bad about missing the shoot now. It’s a shame, I really enjoyed it last year when it was out by Harrisburg.
I absolutely need to make the Rock Mountain shoot next year.

Re: Short Video Vintagers 2023

Nice job Dennis. What guns were you shooting in the video? For the 20 Ga course I used my AH Fox 20 Ga Sterlingworth with 28 inch four weight barrels. For the 12 Ga course I used my AH Fox 12 Ga A grade Utica era gun with 28 inch number 1 weight barrels. I had my 16 Ga Sterly with me as well but I ...

Short Video Vintagers 2023

I managed to cobble together a short video on the Vintagers SxS shoot. Unfortunately I didn’t get as much footage in particular the 20 Ga course so I worked with what I had. It’s a great event and I think the new venue worked really well. If you didn’t attend this year, I would really encourage you ...

Re: Vintage Gun Cup

I was there on Friday as well. Overall a pretty good event and I would definitely go back. We arrived early around 8 registration was pretty easy and they had breakfast sandwiches available onsite which was nice. The 20 Ga red course had fair targets more of a hunters clays course. The 12 Ga orange ...

Re: Vintage Gun Cup

Unfortunately I’ll only be able to attend Friday.
I plan to shoot 20 Ga and 12 Ga side events and whatever else time allows.
Any are invited to shoot with myself and my buddy. We plan to arrive first thing in the morning and get on a course before the crowds hit.
