Re: Hausmann’s June 2025
This is for the ''Gents'' that showed up at Hausmanns, was their a good turn out like the old days ?
How about Vendors, were there any ''Small Guys set up ? Did any of the old boys show up ?
Were any guns sold, or was every body holding on to their money ? How was the weather ?
And most important, Did Sara bring cookies for Me ?

Re: Hausmann’s June 2025
If Sara is Levefer related, yes she brought cookies. Vendors are down. I would say the big players I recall being there are Cobb, Barnett and Robin Hollow. All the Collector Groups were there as well as RST. I believe shooter numbers were low, but frankly the weather was pretty poor. Not much sunshine and lots of muck. Morphy auction house was there and had some nice model 21s there that will be coming up for auction.harry gietler wrote: ↑Mon Jun 09, 2025 9:09 am This is for the ''Gents'' that showed up at Hausmanns, was their a good turn out like the old days ?

I know the PA FFL dealer who was doing legal Form 4473 transfers and he said his number was about normal. That doesn't include transfers to or between 01 FFL's or by C&R 03 Licensees. frank

The BoWhoop event finished with an increase of shooters over last year. I don't have the final totals but it was well attended.

Re: Hausmann’s June 2025
I wish I could have stayed Sat as well hopefully someday.
How did team Fox do at the 5 stand and does anyone know the BoWhoop results?
I wish I had more time to practice that B bird!
Hausmanns probably will not post results for a while.
Lots of fun!

Update. I believe Mike Smith won the Bo-Whoop event and the Letterman Cup event. Not sure regarding the mini Bo-Whoop.

Re: Hausmann’s June 2025
My recollection is that Mike Smith won the Bo-Whoop Long Range shoot. I don't know his gun details. Frank Silvers won the Letterman Cup event for score 7 ex 10 with his Mauser SBT gun, and Mike shot 6 ex 10 with his Fox J-Grade for the trophy. Ron Kiska (Maggiemollie) won the Mini Whoop with 9 ex 10. Ron fielded his Parker Trojan 20b.

Congrats to Mike, Frank and Ron on their respective wins!! As Brishbuster stated the B bird was tough so to end up w/scores like that they were dialed in! Well done Gentleman!!

Re: Hausmann’s June 2025
Yeah, as Brushbuster/Dennis and Foxnut/Brett pointed out - that B bird was the toughie. And did I recall those A, B and C birds being called something like:
A = Awful
B = a Bi - ch and
C = a Cupcake.
Very nice visiting with you guys. Always a great event despite the weather. Looking forward to Iron Mike's next month.
