Thank you to all that chimed in, I will rig it up to get me through one hunt then send it off for some tlc. I am 3-4 hours from Pheasants here, so my old 20ga Ithaca Flues is my go to for the Gentleman Bob.
Only week until our opener here in Missouri, the final countdown has begun......

forearm loosening when shooting
I have a 12ga Sterlingworth 30" barrel, with ejectors. When I am shooting the forearm comes loose, not quite off. This is with light 2 1/2" RST loads. Barrels on face, locks up tight, no other issues I can see with it. Any easy fix I can look at? Planned on using for the Missouri Pheasant ...

Re: Barrel firing sequence
Is there a quick tutorial availible on this site showing how to remove the triggerplate? I am in a rural area and this time of the year the gun smith I use is covered up with deer rifles I am sure.
Thank you,
Dave

Barrel firing sequence
Recently got my newly acquired 1920 Sterlingworth back from the gunsmith's initial review and discovered that the left barrel fires via the front trigger. My other SxS's fire the right barrel with front trigger. Is this unique to the Sterlingworths or just an oddity? Nothing on my factory letter fro...

Re: HE value?
Researcher was right on, not sure where the HE came from. 28" barrells, double triggers, ejectors, pad, choked .038 & .031. Pretty good shape except a small crack on wrist and another beside recevier, both less than an inch long. Some rust issues on right side where it was laying at some po...

Re: HE value?
Looks like it is dead in the middle of the 1910 run of Sterlingworths. I have some clsoe up shots with the serial # and there is no mistaking it. Market seems all over the place on Gunbroker for value, guess it will just come down to what he thinks it's worth. Still trying to figure out the HE grade...

Re: HE value?
Working off what I have been told, wish I had it in hand for this discussion. Looks like I may get to see it tomorrow morning, but it is over an hour away and I will need to decide while there if I want it. Does this site have a serial number listing directory? I did not see one..... thank you, Dave

HE value?
New to the board, need some help with a gun I am looking to purchase. HE grade 12ga with Full and Full barells. Based off pictures it seems to be in decent shape (~80%?) but I won't see it in person for a couple days. I am familiar with things to look for on the old Ithaca's but never thought I woul...
