Re: 20 Gauge Sterlingworth Chamber?
What I will never understand is why do people think it is OK to fire ammo that is longer then the chamber in their shotgun. I have seen this stated on numerous sites and the misinformation just keeps going around and then becomes excepted as fact. There is more recoil, it will increase pressure and ...

Re: 20 Gauge Sterlingworth Chamber?
In my business as a professional Gunsmith over the last few years I have measured quite a few 20 and 16 gauge Graded and Sterlingworth Foxes and I have run into guns with chambers shorter then 2 1/2" using a modern plug gauge. I would never recommend shooting a round longer then the chamber as ...

Re: Barrel not locking properly.
Is the barrel set closing all the way (the barrel extension should be flush with the top of the receiver). If it's not closing completely make sure there is nothing under the extractor keeping it from seating completely. If that is not the problem something must be binding in the lockup.

Re: Sterlingworth trigger gaurd screw
Germantown, I appreciate the offer it would need to be the correct screw as I have one that somebody has butchered up and it doesn't fit flush. The screw from Galazans is to short so it will not work.

Re: Fox AE Barrel pitting question
Most light pitting can be cleaned up by polishing out .005. You just need to make sure there is enough wall thickness.

Re: Fox A Grade Barrel Set
I just had Briley sleeve a Parker and to do both barrels was under $2000.00 and they did a very nice job.
