One can buy a set of AH Fox screws in the white from CSMC Galazan. They have oversized heads that must be fitted.

I did see that but it looked like it was just action screws and did not include the trigger guard screw.

Re: Sterlingworth trigger gaurd screw
I have a trigger guard screw from a Baker 12- looks identical to that on my 12 Sterlingworth- right now it is soaking in Hoppe's, but if you can't get what you need from Galazans, let me know- it might work- no engraving, but the head is beveled to fit flush into the counterbored hole in the rear loop of the guard--I am NOT a paid member, so I cannot sell it to you- but I can give it to you for the price of the postage and envelope and not be in violation of the "rules of the road" so to speak-- small screws, easy to loose under the bench--

Germantown, I appreciate the offer it would need to be the correct screw as I have one that somebody has butchered up and it doesn't fit flush. The screw from Galazans is to short so it will not work.

Bob make sure hole is deep enough but do not drill any deeper than needs to be.if screw does not tighten you can put a little steel wool in hole or break off a few toothpicks and drop in hole .You need to get slot lined up if possible. BB

Re: Sterlingworth trigger gaurd screw
Old trick from both carpenters and cabinet makers- bust off the tapered tip of a toothpick to 'shim" a hole drilled for a wood screw- never heard of the steel wool, but a good idea..
