Well, if nothing else, she sure is a pretty girl. Were you hunting a PA gamelands Tom?

Re: Non-tox recommendations
Phil, I hope you have a great trip. Enjoy yourself. One of these days I'll make it out there. Silvers, did you notice his box of Bismuth in the pic shows them as 1300fps loads? I'd have to pull up the old thread again to see if he mentioned his methodology for testing. I can provide a link if intere...

Re: Non-tox recommendations
FYI- Kent's 16ga are mismarked. Dave Erickson posted his chrono results on the 16ga forum. They run approximately 1300 fps. Kent/Gamebore is a reputable company and I'd be very surprised if its velocity figure shown on shell boxes is inaccurate. The Kent Bismuth 16-gauge boxes I have are marked 1 o...

Re: Non-tox recommendations
Kent, Rio and RST all load 16ga Bismuth. I'm fairly certain that Kent dropped the 16ga from their TM line. http://www.cabelas.com/product/KENT-BISMUTH-SHOTSHELLS-PER-BOX/2263462.uts https://www.ableammo.com/catalog/rio-bismuth-shotshells-rbi164-gauge-1200-fps-bismuth-shot-rdbx-p-140338.html http://w...

Re: Looking for info on original purchaser
You're welcome Phil. It would be great to be able to go back in time just to have an opportunity to walk around those types of shops.

Certainly Kevin. Happy to be able to contribute to the conversation. Just wish the pics were a bit better.Sporrns wrote:Thanks Marcus for taking the time to shoot, size, and post pictures. Would that some of our more urgently demanding requesters exhibit the same etiquette upon response, Kevin

Re: Quail hunting
Thanks for your post Mills. A southern quail hunt has been on my list of hunts to do. Hopefully sooner than later. One of the donors to the organization a close friend of mine operates has a large tract of land in Georgia that he has been managing for wildlife. After deer hunting on it the first tim...

Re: Fox SPE gets a deep woods pheasant
Craig, Thanks for the reply. Where did your father serve? Yes, this part of the state has definitely become developed in the last few decades. Areas where I bailed hay for the local farmers as a teen now are built up with homes and shopping centers. If it weren't for family commitments, I doubt I wo...

Re: Fox SPE gets a deep woods pheasant
Frank, Thanks for the post and the pics. Your photos always make me wish York county was a bit closer to the grouse woods. Craig, do you still have family in the Carlisle area? I'm about 30 minutes SW Carlisle. Near Gifford Pinchot state park if you're familiar with the area. Carlisle is a great tow...
