Have Macon or Wenig cut the stock from their wood and you finish. Wenig does a great complete job. macons wood andd inletting is equal& cheaper. Their[macon] finish& checkering is way below what it should be. i just had 2 krieghoffs done the finishing and checkering had to be redone. they ne...

I donot shot low brass winchester shells in my many vintage SXS. The primers tend to hang firing pins. Told to me by one of best gunsmiths.jim mayer I find cleaning vintage guns a final wipe down with Clenzoil enhances metal & wood[works sor me]Jim baton Rouge

Best final finish for BoresWood&metal
I wipe all my bores after Hoppes9& Kroloil in bores with Clenzoil& I wipe the Wood& Leather Covered pad and Metal with it. The humidity in Louisiana is terrible & in Mich. on grouse I carry soaked pads in zip lock for prtection in snow & rain after wipping with parper towel. DO N...

In 1940-50 a Gunsmith From Italy changed many[100+] to single trigger each different for the individual gun. I just changed back one of his a a S.A. Leonard.jim
