thank you again researcher. Any idea what savage proofed the chicopee falls barrels at? Wouldn't they be better for a shooter?

Hrmm, musta been sent back to the factory at sometime, because the gun is serialed around 31!
will defantly take pics of barrel markings.

Time to take the Fox off the wall

Today is the first day of squirrel season. Its the first time, the gun has been taken off of the wall, since i cleaned it about two months ago. Squirrel season is just the warm up for dove season for this gun. Where in dove season, many of shells come in and out of this gun. Then it gets a cool down...

So it will basically take a full choke and put a mod and a mod to IC or so. But wont really work with IC or lower. Or am i not correct.
