dose anyone know any details on the fox doubles built at savage arms corp. chicopee falls mass?i just recently acquired a steerlingworth and was woundering how many were built and how many different grades wre built there ect.?

Usually if you see a real Fox double with a Chicopee Falls address, it was rebarreled during the years Savage was located there. Also, there may have been a few guns assembled/finished for Savage executives, but nothing but Model Bs were made for public consumption.

I too have a chicopee falls address on the barrel, and its a great gun.
