Re: Ithaca Grade 5E Knick SBT
They are the strongest and simplest shotguns made in this country. I have Victory, 4E, 5E, and Sousa grades in the Knick style in fairly high condition, and shoot them all regularly. I have had the opportunity to add a 7E to my collection, but screwed it up every time. My Sousa is one of about ten according to my research, and I am lucky to have found that one. Maybe someone here can help me with the 7E search.

I like the Victory and 4E but have a hard time pulling the trigger comparing them to my 5E.

I'm not much of a trap shooter, but when I saw this on the used rack, I couldn't pass it up.
"Buy the gun, buy the book." my dad used to say. And I've enjoyed learning more about Ithaca thanks to Walter Snyder's fantastic book.

Walt's book is very good. I am very glad I bought mine, even though I don't own an Ithaca at this time.

I didn't use anything on the gun, and the photo was taken with my phone.Rogue Hunter wrote:What do you use to get that satin finish look?
