Oldest Engraved Remington Autoloader
Thought I bring up the topic in case someone knows of an Earlier One!
Just getting around to posting a few photos of a gun I happened on earlier this year.
Very unique engraving but in line with the earliest catalogs you can see that Remington looked to FN (Browning) but quickly developed a dominant style of Engraving for the US made Auto-5's.
Hope you all enjoy them.
Merry Christmas, Will

Great pics, Will.
Those old Bob Allen shooting gloves bring back memories. I wish I could still buy them. They didn't last long but were like a second skin, unmatched in feel. Wore out my last pair in Argentina in 2010.

I love those little stock cheeks profiled to match the action, on the sides.

Thanks Stan,
One of the main reasons I limit my collecting to pre-1914 Model 11's!
One of the best I own an early B Grade or No. 2 Remington Autoloading Shotgun.
