Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by Foxnut »

I wanted to wish everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving. Whatever your plans are for the day I hope they live up to your expectations. Please take a moment to pray for or silently thank those serving in uniform whether military or first responder that are deployed/working today.

I have good memories of our annual pheasant hunts in NW OH on Thanksgiving morning. My Dad, brothers, cousins, and any guest would hunt the farms behind our house and finish up about noon then have a great meal. It’s a tradition that I wish I could replicate today!

I've been up since 5:00 AM helping my better half get ready for a big crowd. The honey doo list seems endless.

My buddy just sent me a selfie from his goose blind this morning to rub it in.

That and a picture of 3 limits of woodcock they got yesterday. Dirty dog.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all in Fox nation. For many years my dad and I would hunt pheasants in northern Baltimore county and southern PA on Thanksgiving morning until noon or so then return for the family dinner. That's back when we had pheasants here and plenty of farms to hunt them on. All that is gone now. My dad, the farms and the birds.

Happy Thanksgiving. I was fortunate to spend a lot of time hunting this Fall. As far as harvesting game, it was my worst year ever, but I was very blessed to spend time in the woods and on the marsh. Now I’m in Orlando spending Thanksgiving with my daughter and her husband.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.
