My Fox upgrade is making some progress!

The hard part about having one that is everything you've ever wanted is that you feel guilty not taking the others out for a spin, but when you do you feel like you should be using the one that just emptied your red neck 401K.

Good eye. I’ve always thought the Fox guns look better and are more practical when they have the longer fore end.

Thanks Foxnut. The wood has turned out better than I had hoped. We have decided to go with the original idea based on this pattern. But enhancing the game scenes with my dogs and quail, grouse and a woodcock. Hoping to have the gun in hand by January to hunt some wild birds over my old dog.

Beautiful work! - The layout and execution of the forend pattern and checkering is almost serpentine, flowing into the barrels as the barrels and the gun flow into one's shoulder in the fluid motion of making the shot. The term "alive in the hands" comes to mind! Kevin
