Sterlingworth side panel shapes

Post by Gmountain »

As I understand it, the very early Sterlingworth's had the rounded panels, and the later ones had the pointed panels. But am I correct in assuming there was a middle ground. My early Sterly's seem to have a hybrid-not really rounded, but definitely not pointy.

I suspect that variations after the change from the early "The Sterlingworth Co." rounded style

to the more pointed traditional Ansley H. Fox shape was due to individual frame filers.
