FYI: Reproduction catalogs

Post by Fin2Feather »

I just received three Fox catalog reprints from Galazan: the 1923, 1936, and the pre-'10. They're a bit nicer than the ones Abby puts out at Cornell Pubs; these are sized and are meant to be actual reproductions of the originals. Art production isn't the best (pretty dark) but well worth the ten bucks apiece I paid, IMHO. In case there's anyone here who won't be springing for originals (like me) I thought I'd pass it along. Galazan's blip said they were part of a bulk purchase from the publisher and that quantities are limited.

From the pictures on ebay, many of those repros being offered by Galazan appear to be the nth interation of the ones originally reproduced by Lightner Library back in the 1960s. The Fox ones are 1907, 1923 and 193?.
