Ithaca Flues

Post by ylwdog »

Last Shotgun purchase of the year (Maybe)... Went to the local sports shop to pick up some bait for ice fishing today and they had this little 16 gauge Ithaca flues on the shelf. It was marked as a Nitro Special on the tag. Its a 1914 gun and in pretty nice condition. 28" barrels marked 4 on the bottom. don't know a whole lot about the flues models. It's tight choked and weighs in at 5lbs and 14 oz. Cant wait to try her out.
Oh and was so excited to get the little double I forgot to get the bait !

Happy & Healthy New year Fox Friends.

The 4 is for full choke, nice looking gun. I would have given up on the bait too, but then I really don't get ice fishing.
Recoil is most noticed when I miss
