Does seeing a live fox mean its time to acquire something?

Post by foxgun »

Out walking in the neighborhood and saw a fox stalking something. It took off when it saw us. We have several in the neighborhood and have spotted several kits with them from time to time. I told my wife I took it as an omen that its time to acquire a new shotgun.
Do you guys agree?

That's not an omen, it's a Commandment. The kits indicate a small bore purchase.

We have them all around our woodlot, all reds (have never seen a gray hereabouts). Just looked out the basement double doors and saw a beauty sunning itself on the rise furthest from the house, Full grown and in prime condition so I guess the next Fox I buy will be another 12 gauge.

An HE and OO Buckshot.

I'm going to try it this season. Maybe even use vintage roll crimped paper shells.

Should be fun.
