A photo from a recent visit to my club; took along my 16ga A Grade (obviously the good), my Parker SBT (which on this board I'd guess would constitute the bad) and my little Stevens .410 (marked 5100 but which Researcher pointed out in a thread on another forum is a Stevens 530, and which most folks would agree is the ugly)...
Let me first issue the disclaimer that I am not a trap shooter by any definition, and shoot clay targets only in the hope that it might help me hit the occasional bird come fall, but for the record: I shot the .410 very poorly, the A Grade some better even from the down position, and the SBT best of all. I would report the scores, but my card has, unfortunately, been misplaced... .
Well Phil for a small retainer say a 6 pack of "Tall Grass" (Pale Ale preferred) I would be willing to share a small portion of my vast experience shooting on the wing. Meet me at Gypsum some weekend afternoon with that sweet little 16 "A" grade bird slayer and a case of #8 Super Xs and we'll send you home with a smile on your face and shooting like an old pro.
As I remember we were pretty much even on those pretty little purple roll crimped Federal papers. I'll bring you another box of #6s. I need to get down stairs and load some more anyway.
