Post by fm tim »

Are there any recommendations for a gunsmith experienced with Fox firearms in South East or East Pennsylvania?

Thank you

Hi FM Tim,

I have used Rick at Big Sky, his son is specializing in Sterlingworths and can show you some guns they have restored.
1028 North Westend Blvd
Quakertown, PA 18951
(215) 529-6522

I have a 20 ga that would not close without holding the lever. Rick machined a replacement piece from scratch, and the 1916 STW works like new. They have also done dent removal on one of my 12 ga barrels. Also checkering on a stock I supplied them. Tell them I set you.

Best Regards

Smith for your Fox

Post by parkerguns »

Not sure what you need done and the boys have already recomended some excellent smiths. We have been working on them for almost 30 years now and do lots of restorations here on Foxes. Let me know if there is anything we could do to help you out with your gun if you have not already done so.
