BIG NEWS on AHFCA SHOOTING EVENTS!!
Comrades,
I wanted to make you aware of two significant changes to our shooting events calendar for 2016.
First, is that we will be holding the inaugural, Fox vs. Lefever Challenge on June 2 & 3rd at Hidden Hollow.
Uncle Dan's boys have wanted a piece of Fox tail for several years now, so we figured it's time we offered them a shot at the title.
More news to follow shortly, as we formalize plans with Ernie.
Second, is that the Fox vs. Parker Challenge ( FPC-V is the '16 buzz word) will take place at The Northern S XS Expo at Rock Mountain in September. We're hoping the move to the traditional, Vintage Cup time slot will attract some big league shooting talent. Please see the link below announcing this change on "The Brother's-P" website.

So keep your powder dry, Boys!! Team Fox has a busy and challenging shooting season ahead of us. I'm quite confident however, that the "cream" will rise to the top as it has done since 2012!! Unblemished----Unscathed----UNBEATEN!!!

This could definitely be the year when Team Parker wins in Sanford AND at Rock Mountain! Team Fox needs to dig deep this Fall in order to win.

Re: BIG NEWS on AHFCA SHOOTING EVENTS!!
Many of the Fox guns used in past Fox - Parker Challenges had the so-called low factory stocks and short lengths of pull that are in disfavor today, at least by some. I heard a couple of comments from gallery folks over past years, how they winced when seeing a few of our Fox shooters trying to "fit themselves" to common factory guns. But thankfully, despite that impediment the Fox team won by a slim margin last year!
So, with that in mind I am encouraging our gents with Custom Foxes to step up to the plate this year. After all, a Fox that's stocked to your comb, length, pitch, cast and balance just has to shoot better than a plain old factory gun made for the masses, right? Not to mention the advantage of those chokes opened to exacting decimal constrictions - as compared with something like Full and Fuller. I sure hope our Varsity/Custom team will help save the day this year. Come on now, you can only spend so much time shopping for more guns, helping vendors hold down their tables, etc. Let's see what those superbly stocked and nice looking Customs can do when the pressure is on, as it sounds like it will be this year. What say guys?

I agree with Silvers, show us that those custom guns can shoot as good as our "Plain Jane" factory guns!! Pony up cowboys!!

Boy, how I wish I could be there. I'd be using this 32" BE.
Y'all hold it down. TAKE NO PRISONERS!!
SRH
P.S. What day is the Fox/Parker challenge, in case it rains us out here on the farm and I could take off for a quick trip just to shoot? At Sanford, I mean.

I'll bring the custom XE 16 to Ernie's. straight grip, 26 inches of open choked bores and a proven killer of Grouse and Woodcock. I'll miss the FOX/Parker challenge if the deer and antelope gods smile favorably with tags. I need to blood two new custom rifles

I don't know Rich, the good news is the telegraph lines are buzzing that you left Sanford with a smokin' hot, target- crunching Fox.
The bad news: You are now totally out of excuses!!
See you at The Hollow.
