I found this Fox at one of the local gun shows in my area. It's a 16 ga. A that was shipped in 1923. I had to talk myself into attending this show because it seems all you see is plastic and stainless. I guess you have to believe in the old phrase "they are where you find them."
Stunning! It seems that whenever I do come across something sweet like this I don't have the $$$ to do anything about it but when I'm flush and shopping there's nothing around!
Be careful with the left cheek, however, if you did not notice it looks like the start of a crack in the typical spot where the wood is thin.
It does look like there is a split on the pictures in a troublesome area but if you look closely it seems to be in the grain or something in the finish, but I will be keeping an eye on it!
