Early A grade ejector parts

Post by JakeFlyFish »

Trying to find the sears for an early style A grade. They are the early sears. GB has some for the later style but they will not work. Anyone? Thanks much, Jerry Andrews

Thanks all! It's a darn nice gun other than the broken pieces. I can make them if I must, but I'd really rather find them I have a ton of Fox and L.C. Smith parts, and several ejector sears, just not the old style sears. Thanks, Jerry

Just looked at his parts supplies! Wonder who had Mitzy's stuff. I dealt with Mitzy quite a bit, he installed several SST's for me in guns through the years. I ended up with quite a few and a large quantity of L.C. Smith stuff, but nothing like that! Jerry

Jerry,

I was the custodian of that treasure trove for a couple of years...I bought it all from Mitzie's son, it was still kept in the ol cellar where it had all been since the 70's from what I understand. I bought it for historical/preservation reasons. Jason approached me to buy it all when he learned I had it and I am pleased that he did. He is a very very talented gunsmith and he can make infinitely better use of them than I ever would have been able to. It was a grand educational experience for sure!
