Looking for a Gunsmith on Long Island New york who does work on A.H Fox Steringworth 16ga. Started break down to refinish wood and see the years of junk buildup and want to get a deep cleaning done and reassemble Gun. Can anyone who may have had work done provide name of smith which I can contact to do this work.

I live on LI and I've been using Abe Chaber in Danbury CT for the last 20 years now to work on all my Fox guns, he is a great guy and an outstanding gun smith his info is 2037481830 Custom Craft Gunsmith he will ultrasonic clean your Fox it will come out beautiful. He just finished restoring my Fox A Grade PAC gun and it came out fantastic, you will not go wrong with Mr. Chaber, it's about an hour or so a drive to his shop from LI and once you walk in there you'll be amazed. He's is an honest man and a Vietnam vet you can't get any better than that.

Thank you for your help gave him a call and you are right great and knowledgeable gunsmith who knows his Fox guns. Will be taking a ride up to see him with two guns Fox 20 gauge and Fox 16gauge. Once again thanks for the information.
