Jostam Anti-Flich recoil pad

Post by Twice Barrel »

OK gentlemen someone out there must know where I can find a small size (6 slot) Anti-Flich pad. The reason I ask is that I have a very early Sterlingworth Delux that borders on pristine except for the original pad which has deteriorated to the consistency of silly putty. I have considered Jostam Hy-Gun, Hawkins or Silvers but this gun really deserves better.

They are where you find them. I once bought a 16-gauge Savage-era Fox-Sterlingworth for $325, just for the Jostam Anti-Flinch on it. Got $600 for the gun in a trade to Mumblin' Gary, and the next time I saw it, my after-market pad was gone and it had a repro butt plate on it and the Hartmann Bros. wanted $925 for it!! All in about eight months time!!

We tried to get repro Anti-Flinch pads made, and the factory office burned with Craig's NOS pads in it!! Got to keep watch in the various auction sites and look through a lot of gunshow junk boxes!!
