Word is, all the vendors are looking for Mike. So far he bought three guns, bamboo fly rod, another vintage fishing rod, high end shirts, RST shells, probably other goodies he hasn't talked about.

Re: Vintage Cup 2013!!
Just a few general comments. The weather and temps were great through the entire event, and many small and larger gun and accoutrements vendors were there although I noticed some of the regular vendors didn't make it this year. The courses and targets were very good, along with the food service and facilities there at Addieville. It seems to me there were far fewer "walk ins" with guns to trade/sell or just talk with the collector associations' reps. Why? It's personal opinion but I think the factors were the overall economy, along with two competing events over the previous two weekends, and thirdly the location which is a bit too far north and east for many SxS enthusiasts. But the latter comment applies to most any show/shooting event that's at an extreme of the compass. Nevertheless I had a great time talking with my Fox comrades and many old and some new friends, came home with a complete Fox ejector barrel that I've been searching for now for three years, and after some shuffling ..... one more Fox than I left home with. Also sold and bought some goodies.
Heard about an interesting Fox high grade smallbore that I'll be checking out once I get pics from the gent. Need I say more?
As my wife said, now back to reality. But only 51 weeks to go to the next VC and I'm wondering if the Vintagers will make any adjustments for 2014.
We had a lot of fun with Mike who has the previous post. He's got the Fox shakes & sweats and is mainlining it. But then again many of the Foxers I know are the same. Silvers

Re: Vintage Cup 2013!!
There are a couple pics on the Parker Collectors forum about the Parker DH 8 gauge fluid steel barreled gun that Steve Barnett has with the possibility of being for sale !
I wish I had come if for nothing else then to say I'd seen that gun in person .
I have a friend from Virginia that was there and he said the gun looked good although Parker's are not his thing except for a 12 gauge hammer gun he just started using .
But then if it's an 8 or 10 gauge thats American or British made I'm always intrested !
Didn't say I could buy but rather intrested in seeing
