REMINDER - Ansley H Fox Championship / Fox-Parker Challenge

Post by Silvers »

A reminder to all that our Ansley H Fox Championship will take place as part of the 2nd Annual Fox-Parker Challenge match at the upcoming Vintage Cup at Addieville East Farm in Mapleville RI. Members may sign up to shoot as many times as you wish and your highest score will count for the AHF Championship and for the F-P Challenge. You MUST be a member of record of the AHFCA by September 1, 2013 to compete with a Fox gun ..... no last minute "ringers" for either Association.

Please see the link below for more details.

A second reminder is that the Vintagers will close its pre-registration on September 14. In the past those who preregister get free admission to the VC on any and all of the days of the event. I don’t know what the admission will be for this year, but if it’s the same as in the past that could be up to $20.00 per day. N.B., there’s a mistake in some of the Vintager’s adverts and the F-P Challenge is not a concurrent with the Main Event on Sunday. Those who want to compete in the AHF Championship and the F-P Challenge should sign up for the American Classics Event which is offered on Friday and Saturday. You don't have to preregister, but again, the VC entry is free if you're pregistered for something.

We hope to see you there. Not only to shoot but to hang out at the Fox Collector tables, look at some nice guns, and buy/sell/trade. This event is a “must do” for those who lament about not seeing Foxes in your normal haunts.
