My cell phone was dead quiet yesterday, meaning my Recon patrol didn't spot anything or I'm not paying them enough...LOL!!
I'm gonna go wayyyyy out on a limb and predict we will hear it was the usual....."same batch of tired ol' Foxes story."
Hope someone proves me wrong and went home with a real "humper" but I'm not betting on it. -----TOOL
Wild Guess--Squat in Baltimore????
Re: Wild Guess--Squat in Baltimore????
Went to one of the biggest gun shows we have here in Minnesota. Over 600 tables and found 1 Fox. A 1920's A grade 12 gauge that was redone. They never even bothered to fit the recoil pad on it.

Tool,
I was there Saturday and saw a few tired 12 gauge Sterlingworths. I heard of screaming LC Smith Specialty 12 gauge with 32" tubes that walked it. Tony G ended up with it. A lady walked in with a Parker GH 12 gauge with Damascus barrels, she also had a graded 28 gauge Parker either a GH or DH from what I could see. By the time I saw it she had made it to the Parker boys and they had her surrounded!
I ran into Marshfellow and he was happy with a gun he found on the way in.
I sold a few Civil War guns there, this is the right show for that kind of stuff!
I did not find anything there, however I picked up a nice Pigeon Grade L.C. Smith at a shop on the way down!
It is a nice show reminded me of the old days! I will go again.

Yea need to turn over many stones in this game---yea just never know what will show up. Most times you go home empty handed but sometimes the stars align. And you have to be ready to buy regardless of where an example you desire shows up if it is on your must have list. Stay focused and buy what you like (also it helps to have an understanding wife!!)

You never know! Years ago, I quit going to a little National Guard Armory gun show that was becoming all black guns and beef jerkey. Wouldn't you know it, a few shows later a buddy scores a big BHE-Grade vent ribbed Parker Bros. there!!!

.......the LC Specialty that Scott mentioned was incredible....I saw it before the show opened...good thing for me it wasnt a Fox or my purse would have been much lighter. Some guys like blondes, some guys like brunettes.... I did some good damage on a couple of nice early Winchesters and a rather unique 32" Philly Sterlingworth 12 with amazing dimensions.

Good job on the Sterlingworth. One of the members brought "Cousin Billy" to the Vegas show. It was his first trip to the show. He snatched a great 32 inch Sterlingworth that all of the Fox Faithful had missed. Just shows they are out there someplace.
