Beyond stock removal.....

Post by vince174 »

I've seen a lot of posts where people ask about complete disassembly of a Fox action. Most of the advice ends with the suggestion to take the gun to a competant gunsmith. Is there someone here who has completely disassembled a receiver ? I have a question about the hammer springs and how they are held in the receiver. Please PM me and I can explain a little bit more.

Thanks

Although no one responded, I figured things out. I thought the rod coming off the hammers went through what I now know is a mainspring cup. Interesting hammer configuration. Much of the rest of the internals look like a Ithaca NID.

Thanks
