What a great gift

Post by cbowen »

My son gave me an unbelievable gift............ A 20 gauge sterlingworth skeet & upland. The gun has lettered and I used it twice so far missing two Grouse in 4 inches of powder snow. He purchased a beautiful 16 gauge S&U several months ago and he shot his first Grouse yesterday . The weather was fantastic with a fresh coating of snow . We saw many Grouse tracks especially where he shot his grouse. It was a day that will always be cherished. We finished the day with a stop at the Carsonville Hotel ( Penna.) and warming ourselves by the coal stove and having something to eat and drink. I will some send some pictures of the guns and his first grouse later.
