just broke my stock

Post by mnnimrod »

Out ruff grouse hunting and took a tumble. Broke my stock on my 16 gauge BE grade. Need to find a inlet replacement stock for my gunsmith. Any recommendations?

Take this sad but awesome opportunity to be stock fitted (if you haven't already) and have one made to your dimensions!!!

If your gunsmith is a stockmaker he'll glue yours back together and use it as a pattern for the duplicator.

And I second the recommendation to take the opportunity to make one that fits you perfectly.
Beware the man with one gun...he likely will bore you to death in others ways, too.

That was something we did not discuss using the brokent stock for the inlet pattern. I had another custom stock made and was fitted so we are going to match those dimensions. Thank you for your feedback.
