ONE WEEK and counting to the Vintage Cup

40-degrees outside at the digs this morning, geese were honking at the ponds last night, acorns pinging off our sugar shack's roof, and there's a touch of red on the maples. It's time for the Vintage Cup which starts one week hence. For those still on the fence, this is currently THE PLACE to join up with other SxS enthusiasts, talk Foxese with the other guys at our tables, look at many fine guns, bring some to sell, go home with others, and if so inclined shoot the A H Fox Championship and/or the Fox/Parker Challenge. Also the evenings are great with Fox comrades while at dinner, room get-togethers, etc.

So often I hear from gents or see posts, asking where is that Fox honey hole where you guys find the nice ones? Well there isn't a honey hole, at least I've never found one. But besides nice Foxes you might see for sale at the VC, it's the CONTACTS you make there that are worth the trip. Many of you know that a lot of the nice Foxes etc are talked between friends and never make it for sale to the gun shops or internet sites. A word to the wise......
