Primers

Post by Valmet13 »

A few years ago I mentioned to some folks in the Fox Collectors that my Fox was difficult to open after firing and someone suggested I use Remington primers. I had been using Winchester 209s.
The Remingtons solved the problem and consequently I started using them for all 12 gauge reloads.
Now Remington has raised the price of primers by more than 30%.
Has anyone experimented and found another brand that will work as well as Remingtons?

thanks,
Berle

CCI will work pretty well too. I do have one ejector gun that hates everything but the Remingtons. I haven't tried any other brands.
Recoil is most noticed when I miss
