kautzky single trigger
I just found a nice CE Grade 12gauge, dual ivory sights, straight grip stockwith pad, 30" barrels and single trigger. The gun dates to 1911. My question is this, how early was the single trigger offered? Owner stated the gun looked pretty original, some case colors remaining, stock looked refinished.

Re: kautzky single trigger
The Fox-Kautzky Single Selective Trigger was introduced to the public with a flyer inserted in the big grey 1914 "Fox Gets the Game" catalogue, the first to show the new Billy Gough style engraving. The text mentions that they had been in test service with select shooters for several years prior. They also offered to retrofit them to any Ansley H. Fox double.
