cleaning the Trigger area

I have recently purchased a dream gun that my son and I will cherish a Fox Skeet & Upland 16 gauge. My question is , What is best to use to clean the trigger area ? Also what is Kroil ?

I also have a SU 16 ga.Kroil is a penetrating type oil that is good for helping to loosen stubborn screws to be removed.You could use a toothbrush i suppose and mask the wood off where oil or cleaner would not get on wood.I would remove triggers and polish them if i were cleaning triggers. Bobby
