Few serial numbers to pass on

Post by vaturkey »

Got these today at the Nations Gun Show (such as it is these days). First is a flat side SW that was restocked and poorly. 30" barrels. S/N is 132927

Second is a rebarreled SW after Savage bought them out. Interesting gun as it was re-barreled with 32" number 1 weight barrels. Barrels are clearly marked 2 on the water table. Serial Number is 99600. Chokes are .020 and .035 and inside .729. Non-capped pistol grip and the bulky Savage forearm. Old Jostam Pad. Condition overall poor in about every way as it was a Eastern Shore gun and probably spent some time in the salt water coast environment and had light pitting everywhere. Chambers were 2 3/4" and marked on the barrels.

That's about it. Same old Fox A 16 grade was there that's been there for the last 5 years. Poor condition and $2,995 on top of that.
