CE 20ga...an early one

Post by MARSHFELLOW »

I just had to share these pics of this little CE 20.... I think this is my favorite checkering "ensemble" that I have seen on a C grade Fox. This is a one family Fox that spent it's life in PA hunting but was really cared for.....truly, never a screw turned.

Great find Tom. I agree with your opinion of the checkering pattern. "Test fired only"????

......I reckon it was carried more than it was fired... PA hunting probably being very similar to Central NY hunting. 28" bbls btw.

Tom, this is one sweet looking gun. The heart shaped cheek checkering is also my favorite.

Hey if the gun has never had a screw turned it's way overdue for a good teardown & cleaning. Get your Craftsman screwdriver set out and have a go at it.
