Another Sterlingworth Restock?

Post by ErikT »

I'm ready to make the plunge on restocking my 1913 Sterlingworth.
The gun is in great shape and I want to convert it to a straight stock. I am looking for recomendations for FIRST RATE work. Prerably in the Pennsylvania area.

I will also be opening the chokes and barrels polished and reblued. Any suggestions?

I actually took the gun to Dewey for evaluation and inspection about a year ago. He said it was in great shape. I was not sure if he did his own stocking or if he was strictly did mechanics.

Beware that some smiths are very far behind and their work cost more than the price of a ment gun. Just random suggestion to make sure you have a firm quote on time and chargesi
