Some members may be interested in this Strosin Fox. What a fun project. I got together with Bob about 3 years ago and made arrangements to have him customize 3 Sterlingworths…A 20, 16, and 12 GA. The 16 was first on the list. Here are some pictures Bob sent me while working on it. Bob at RES Engraving completed all metal sculpturing, stock work, bluing, and engraving. The 20 GA is ready for wood, and I can’t wait.
Can't believe it took me this long to find these pictures. Now that is some fancy work for sure. Some of the most explosive Crotch walnut I've every seen in a gun. Sure seems like a true craftsman put that together.
Two of the many things that I like so much about Bob's engraving treatment of this gun are .............. (1) the rose colored gold used so tastefully in the inlays, and (2) the exquisite barrel wedge engraving without the need for background stippling.
