That would be a pity...it sold privately for $400k+ some years ago, or so I'm told from reliable sources...unlike "Bo Whoop" this gun has unquestioned provenance. It is a far more important historical object than either Bo Whoop or the "Czar" Parker.

Did he take this gun to South America where he almost died or did this one only go to Africa?

But Don: Some years ago we were not in the deepest recession since The Great Depression.
If the Czar's Parker or Bo Whoop had come to market, say in 2005, I wonder what they would have brought.
Just My Humble Opinion......George

I think your right. No jobs and its getting worse regardless of what the White House says. I've got two kids, both with college degree's, both made the deans list and one's been looking for a year and the other was laid off just last week. The White House can brag about more educated masses being a priority but that just means either the kids or their parents have incurred loads of debt to pay for education with not much promise of reward at the end. Hope it turns around soon for the countries sake.George Lander wrote:But Don: Some years ago we were not in the deepest recession since The Great Depression.

No one who has kids headed for college will be bidding on the TR gun. I think I may take a crack at it since all my bills are paid and the kids are gone.

Vaturkey, when I first saw the TR F Grade Fox, it was being unloaded from a '56 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery by a fellow who didn't look like he lived in a house with a full roof. Obviously, he knew a little about Fox shotguns.

My guess is you will be able to view that FE along with Lincoln's Henry at the Smithsonian in the future.
