An older gentleman in his 90;s had over 60 foxes for sale several years ago. Most were graded guns i couldn.t. afford but i bought the one sterlingworth that was unfired and never put together. Paid what i thought was high then . No box as he said many came in some kind of crate with more than one gun. He bought these new. Wish i had a box. It has a small handling mark or two from something but you can tell it had never been shot and he wrote a lettet stating such. He was the original owner. All the checkering still has the varnish.
Thanks for the story, I would love to get my finger prints on that 20ga Sterly! Any chance you can make it to the HH shoot or the Vintagers? That is the best one I have ever seen,
