Very nice and the condition is off the charts nice a real screamer!! What year was the gun produced, looks like mid to late 20's.

Thanks Craig,

I am not sure on the date ... I have in my records that my other sterlingworth is a 1928 and this one is after it but still a Fox (not Savage) production gun so I think its either 28 or 29. I don't know where I got the 1928 number for my sterlingworth... I think it was b/c there were old 1928 news papers laying in the bottom of the box. Seems, IIRC, they were late 1928, around November.

I think that gun came with a letter also... I look around for it but my guess is someone here can verify the 1928 date by just seeing the serial number:

The one pictured above is: 1225xx and the other is 1128xx

Thanks again Craig but they really are not anything special... I previously misspoke, one is a "Field" model and the other a "Standard".... would love to find something a bit more unique with some condition (like that 32" trap that you just posted)... but I just started my searching in the last 2 or so years...

I would be very proud to own either of your mint Sterly's. They are extremely hard to find in that condition in any configuration.
