Which Screwdriver set ?

Post by HardCash »

In the disassembly section, it is noted that one needs a 340-2 and a 340-3. I cannot located these two screwdrivers.
I need a good Screwdriver Set anyway, but when I searched Brownell and MidwayUSA, they don't list numbers like 340-2 and 340-3.
Would someone recommend a Set that has these size bits or screwdrivers ?

I have the 58 piece kit from Brownell and really like EXCEPT its does NOT have any -2 screwdrivers, which you will likely need....

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=417/ ... ETS_trade_

other than that, I use it all of the time and its a GREAT investment... well worth the cost.

here is where it references the sizes...
With the Super-Set, you can pick the blade that exactly fits the screw you are working on. The Super-Set has 9 different blade widths from .120" to .360". Each 1½" long bit is marked with its blade width, and its relative thickness number (3 for thinnest, 4 for next thicker, etc.) and are arranged in a super, new, heavy-duty Bench/Range Case with a lift out bench Tray that displays the blades for you in a graduated "spread" from narrowest/thinnest through widest/thickest.
Cheers!

What you need is the Thin-Bit set pictured on the right side at the Brownells link. It contains the 1 and 2 thickness bits.
