20ga Bore Dimension.

Post by Bird1122 »

I know the trappings of assuming without measuring, but I am curious to know if you all could share your observations for Fox 20 ga bore dimension. If we're going to differentiate between manufacturers, then it would be from Utica. I didn't search McIntosh yet and did not find it here.

.617?

Thanks,

Bird

My 1913 A-Grade 20-gauge has bores right on at .615". As the years progress they seem to get overbore -- 1920 is .618" left and .619" right; a 1927 is .619" left and .622" right and a 1938 is .622" left and .621" right.
