Photos of Ken Hurst engraved custom Fox

Post by Valmet13 »

Last week, Bill Murphy and I visited Ken Hurst to see the engraving progress on my Fox Sterlingworth ejector project, which is being built as a contemporary side by side clay target gun. The design motif is Art Deco. Ken never fails to deliver more than expected.
The receiver sculpting is by Anthony Patti and Dan Rossiter of PGS--http://pgsguns.com/. They also did the major stock work. It’s been a great adventure working with all these guys. We plan to have the gun ready for the Southern Side by Side in April. I’ll be writing an article about the experience.

Ahhh! the "Chrysler Building Fox". An interesting if eclectic choice...Perhaps you need Walter Chrysler's Model 21 to compliment it...

Walter's Model 21 changed hands this year. I wonder who is shooting it now?
