I dont have the spec sheet handy, I am overseas. But here is my 16 GA SPE Skeet & Upland; straight grip, single trigger, ejectors, buttplate. Notice the buttplate with the widows peak. Appears original. I have heard of a few of these buttplates. Has anyone else seen them on a FOX gun?? The buttplate phot look slike there is filler between the buttplate and the wood. There isnt. Photo doesnt show good view but you can see the widons peak.

I've previously only seen the widowspeak butt plate on 12-gauge SP-/SPE-Grades. Normally (but what is normal when so few were ever made?) the SPE-Grade Skeet & Upland Game Guns had a checkered butt like Pat Boccuzzi's gun or a optional recoil pad. The Fox Special Skeet Gun shown in the 1934 Wholesale Price List had the butt plate but it was shown with no engraving.

What is or what looks like a small pin to the left side of the trigger? I just looked at my single trigger Fox doubles and don't see such a pin?
